Yoga & Homoeopathy : Boosting Kid's Immunity !

Every year on June 21, people throughout the world come together to celebrate International Yoga Day and show their support for the age-old art of yoga.

The importance of yoga for our physical, mental, and spiritual health is brought home by this unique day. It is time to respect the ancient customs and knowledge that yoga includes while also embracing its contemporary applicability in fostering all-encompassing health and peace.

As we set out on a path of self-discovery, inner peace, and personal development, it is a wonderful opportunity to strengthen our connections with others, ourselves, and the world around us.

Recognizing yoga's enormous potential for elders, chronically ill patients, I want to look at a different aspect of it - to promote children's health and wellbeing.

Yoga becomes a potent instrument for boosting our children's immunity and preparing them for the difficulties that lie ahead when used in conjunction with homoeopathy. This fascinating subject examines the beneficial interactions between yoga, homoeopathy, and immunity in kids, which is especially relevant as we head into June and prepare for the rainy season.

Let's explore the amazing ways that yoga, homoeopathy, and an emphasis on immunity may support our children's health and well-being and keep them resilient in the face of potential health issues.

I have also added in some commonly prescribed homoeopathic remedies to boost kids immunity especially during rains towards the end..

Understanding Kid's Immune System :

Given that children's bodies are still developing and expanding, it is particularly important to understand how kids immune system works for them.

Think of their body's immune system as an army of unique proteins and cells that cooperate to keep them healthy. These immune cells function like superheroes to defend your body from bacteria and viruses when they try to attack it. They can identify and eliminate these intruders thanks to extraordinary abilities.

The immune systems of children are still developing and getting stronger with time. They can sometimes become ill more quickly than adults because of this. The good news is that as they age, their immune system becomes more expert at identifying and warding off pathogens. It appears as though their immune superheroes are training and strengthening.

It's common for kids to get ill every now and again since it teaches their immune system new things and makes it stronger. However, by looking out for their general health and wellbeing, we can boost their immune system and assist them in staying fit and healthy, just like genuine superheroes!

Yoga & Kid's Immunity :

You must be wondering.. yoga? For my kid? Who is distracted all the time and is in dire need of some physical activity!

Everyone has promoted Yoga for mental peace, inner calm, mindfulness, to ease anxiety.. how is it going to help with my hyper active kids immunity? Well here's how.. !

Improved blood flow throughout the body from yoga postures and motions helps the body's organs and cells receive oxygen and nutrients enabling immune cells to move more quickly and defend against dangerous germs.

Yoga helps kids manage their hyperactivity, lowers the production of stress hormones and encourages a peaceful state of mind to maintain a strong immune system.

Enhances Lymphatic Flow by eliminating waste and toxins from the body, which is essential for immunological function.

Yoga poses require kids to use and strengthen a variety of muscle groups thus aid in better posture and alignment while enhancing the performance of internal organs.

The oxygenation of cells and tissues is essential for immune cell activity and the overall health of the immune system, is supported by pranayama.

Yoga helps kids establish a stronger bond between their bodies and thoughts leading to increased appetite which enables moms to avoid junk  ( thank me later mums ) good sleeping pattern ( & hence no sleepless nights for parents ). All these changes results in good immunity!

It's crucial to make the activity interesting and age-appropriate so that they can take advantage of the positive effects on their bodies and minds while having a good time.

Homoeopathy & Kid's Immunity :

Children's immune systems can be supported and strengthened through homoeopathy, a gentle and secure kind of medication which stimulates the body's natural healing processes by very diluted natural components.
Here are some ways that homoeopathy can boost youngsters' defenses:

Instead of just treating the symptoms, the Homoeopath's intention is to address the underlying imbalances that may be weakening their immune system.

Homoeopathy acts by inducing a mild healing response ( which is a medically induced, controlled aggravation ), which motivates the immune system to perform at its best and successfully fight off infections and disorders.

With long term use of Homoeopathy, the risk of infections is reduced in a child, intensity of the next attack reduces, frequency of the infections reduces. In short, homoeopathy medicines, helps build resilience and improve the body's ability to fight off allergens.

Homoeopathy seeks to restore harmony and balance within the body, unlike some conventional medications that suppress symptoms. It promotes the body's innate healing processes and permits the immune system to operate normally any suppression.

Children can use homoeopathic treatments since they are extremely diluted, prepared in accordance with strict rules, have few negative effects, are non-toxic, non-addictive, and generally well-tolerated. Due of this, homoeopathy is a good option for kids, even those who are babies or have chronic conditions.

Homoeopathy takes the child's complete physical, mental, and emotional health and well-being into account. Even for an infant, we take into consideration the mental & emotional state of the mother throughout her pregnancy to understand the development of the emotional & mental sphere of the infant/ new born.  It acknowledges the interdependence of several bodily systems and seeks to reestablish balance on several levels, fostering holistic wellbeing and bolstering long-term immunological health.

Below are few examples of some commonly prescribed Homoeopathic Medicines to strengthen kid's immunity!

Aconite napellus is a treatment that's frequently utilised during the beginning of illnesses, especially when symptoms start to show up right away after being exposed to chilly, dry winds.

Calcarea carbonica: Children with a weakened immune system who frequently have respiratory infections benefit greatly from this treatment.

Children who are prone to recurrent colds, coughs, and ear infections should take the medication pulsatilla.

Children with weakened immune systems who are prone to repeated infections, particularly of the tonsils, glands, and throat, are frequently treated with silica.

Thuja occidentalis: This remedy is taken into account if the child has had several immunizations or if there is a history of recurring infections, particularly warts. Immune system abnormalities can be treated, and general wellbeing is encouraged.

The dosage, frequency however will be decided after thorough case taking of the child.

To sum it all up on International Yoga Day,

Yoga, homoeopathy, and immunity work together to form a potent system of support for our kids' health and wellbeing.

We can equip our young warriors to survive and maintain resilience, even in the face of seasonal obstacles, by adding kid-friendly yoga practices, immune-boosting homoeopathic treatments, nutritious cuisine, and healthy lifestyle choices.

As we enter June, ushering in a season of growth, vitality, and well-being, let's embrace the enriching advantages of yoga, utilize the healing potential of homoeopathy, and prioritize the immune health of our children.

Betrayal of the Promise: Why are Homeopaths Losing Faith in Homeopathy?

Reclaiming Our Roots: A Call to Action for Homeopaths & Patients! "This post reflects my personal observations and may not resonate with everyone. I understand that some may disagree with my views. However, this is a platform for introspection and a call to action within our profession. We embarked on this journey, drawn to the profound philosophy of homeopathy – a system of medicine that honors the individual and seeks to address the root cause of suffering.
